Picking:

This lesson focuses on simple left hand development. Take it slow and give yourself about a week to really develop coordination. If you decide to download the beginner manual, it will be tempting to jump ahead when you may not be ready. If you can play along with the video without collapsing your finger (staying on the tips) then you know you are ready to move on.

Chords and Rhythm:

Chord and rhythm playing is one of the more difficult things to learn on the guitar for beginners. All I can say is be patient with yourself and take your time. Also, notice the posture of my left hand. By keeping my thumb down and being on the tips of my fingers, I am able to create clear sounding chords.
